Nostalgia!

As the sun sets in the far horizon My heart dips in sad mourning As darkness sets and silence follows My heart sinks into the deep gallows Sorrow knock at my heart's door Bringing back all the memories The good times we shared together Lingers on my mind forever And my heart become nostalgic Suddenly the realization dawns on my senses And the pangs of loneliness hits my existence And once again my heart dips Into the sea of sorrowful depression As the time ticks and loneliness seeps I cling to the faith as I wait for a new dawn Because I know after every teary night There is always a new twilight That gives me new hope and light. © Aarzoo Mehek.
