Creative writers Specially the Indians who write ‘’Dr.’’ Before their names Put me in utter confusion Whether their formal degrees are in medical science Or they have done PhDs Whatever it is I have no problem But if they want us to take them seriously That is for us a big concern If academic qualifications make one an excellent author Then all the vice chancellors would have been a magician With their stroke of pen Would have created magnificent poems And Rabindra Nath Tagore could have never been a poet As he had passed only the ninth class And I wonder if the PhDs do not teach The huge difference between Academic qualification and creative writing.
