it's morning
rain comes
morning rain comes
it's noon
rain comes
noon rain comes
it's afternoon
rain comes
afternoon rain comes
it's evening
rain comes
evening rain comes
it's night
rain comes
night rain comes
whole day and night
rain comes
wets the green tree,
the roof and our path
makes damp the withered leaves
rain comes
but only you;
still you yet to come
