One by one They shook One by one They cracked One by one They broke One by one They drowned Look around West Java Tasikmalaya Cry aloud Look around West Sumatra Padang, Pariaman Tears spread The earth Where we stand upon The sea Where we sail afar The house Where we live in The road Where we walk on They've moved They've sent fear Hundreds souls Fly to the sky They've smashed They've crashed Hundreds hearts Fell apart Oh Our Dear God In Whose Hand Souls Is You give us countless gifts But we've used them for wrong deeds Oh Our Dear God The Most Gracious The Most Merciful You give us precious wealth and health But we've used them to torture others How many lies We've said to people How many darkness We've threatened nature How greed we are But we've act so innocent How hatred we are But we've act so sincere Heaven and Earth When you are angry No one and nothing Can stand still Heaven and Earth When you are fighting back Children and adults Are sadly dead All leaders Look into your hearts All citizen Look inside your souls Everybody Watch your steps Everyone Watch your intentions We deeply weep Corpses like dropping rain We deeply wound Helpless in terrible pain We gently warn To our beloved friends We have to keep the Faith Whatever might be in God we trust Oh You Are The Greatest We beg you to forgive our sins Oh You Are The Noblest We bow you to forgive our stupidity Oh You Are The All Mighty We pray you to bless us Oh You Are The Most Powerful We pray you to care us Oh God Send Your Angels To hold their pity spirits And welcome them to the Green Garden Oh God Send Your Mercy To pour their fragile hearts So they can reach the Light of Paradise (with deep sadness and sympathy to victims of earthquake in Indonesia)
