Altın Yaprak
chrysanthemums fly
swaying to the sky
footsteps of memory
in a white veil
your image
flow slowly
a half rainbow
embroidered with joy
dreams cross the frozen pond
your Spring devotion
will rise and sparkle
reaching afar shores
not yet midnight
phoenix spreads
shining wings
clear and simple
(dedicated to a poet friend at poemhunter, Obed Dela Cruz)
