A Ahmad Shiddiqi

Altın Yaprak
(dedicated to Mr. Seiji Ozawa, a great Japanese conductor)
fish
birds
beasts
insects
the way plants grow
penetrated to their essential
a positively divine understanding
May Heaven, that grants me long life
flowers are blossoming in Spring gardens
butterflies and bees are dancing around
voice of rivers and wind are gorgeous
May Heaven, that grants me love
branches of trees
leaves of grass
moonlight
the sun
(inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's Red Fuji)
