Altın Yaprak
Someone asked me, “Are you a poet? ”
I didn’t reply, just a smile,
In return I got one’s laughter,
I regretted my smile.
I burst out, “Could you leave me alone.”
“Oh! I am really sorry for the tone,
But my question is still not yet replied.”
I couldn’t speak, I just cried.
“I hope, now you’ll write a poem by heart,
These are tears that add an essence in art”,
Said my super ego, and left me alone.
“Please, come back with a more bitter tone! ”
