Straight as I spoke I heard the voice of Fate: 'Look up, my lad, the Gorgon sisters wait.' Raising my eyes, I saw Medusa stand, Stheno, Euryale, on either hand. I gazed unpetrified and unappalled The girls had aged and were entirely bald!
