Camelia

The sweet scented flowers of pink are now blooming And telling the land that the springtime is here, For soft and like velvet their petals are glowing I've waited a lifetime to see them appear. So still, The songs of the dawn, Camelia shines As a new day is born. Like skies of the morning their colour enriching The land with their splendour such joy they do give, And filling my senses with passion and feeling A sight I shall treasure as long as I live. So still, The songs of the dawn, Camelia shines As a new day is born. The sweet scented flowers of pink look so lovely While bathed now in sunlight and sprinkled with dew, As gently the weep silver tears of emotion Which fall to the ground as the skies turn to blue. So still, The songs of the dawn, Camelia shines As a new day is born.
