Where Art You Now?

Where art you now where have you gone? For I feel so alone, Your image fades where sunlight shone, Upon your resting stone. The church bell tolls for love is lost, At empty fields I stare, What price my heart what will it cost? To see you standing there. I read the names that are engraved, In loving memory, Of all those who could not be saved, And soon it shall be me. I know as in your grave you lie Beneath the twisted yew, That truest love shall never die I'll always care for you. For I am certain while you sleep My pain shall not be gone, As on your stone I gently weep Somewhere your soul lives on. So rest in peace as I must leave Though hurt shall not refrain, For you my love I'll always grieve Until we meet again.
