Forced to spell, compelled when to arrive, All he showed was honey from bee-hive— To prove: smart can he speak— Gullible minds to trick, Look, arrived have I, am no more naïve. ___________________________________________________ This is the story of a political family star too far, of a prince in wilderness; of his speech at CII that left most corporate chieftains chewing their pencils. He criticized the system of which his family has been at the helm. But if they were looking for solutions, they were naïve, not the prince that offered mere fables, homilies, parables, folk tales, and empty rhetoric. He likened India not with ponderous elephant, but a beehive. Shrewd metaphor to sidestep accountability! The message: if denied honey, bees can turn on the queen bee! ! In 2019 when this ditty came for revision this bumble bee was still in wilderness having fumbled badly at the polls. ______________________________________________________ Happenings | 09.04.13 |
