Luck Is No Fortuitous Lot
A Aniruddha Pathak
0
Altın Yaprak
Luck is not God when lifts from a lot,
When a horse is hailed, harness is hot,
Opportune time when knocks,
Straightened, all stumbling blocks,
Man's ready, dotted is every dot.
But in pulling up socks,
The fittest time when knocks,
Oh amidst alibis am I caught—
And alas, my iron's not yet hot,
Luck is what a man locks.
