Altın Yaprak
Few things born are to be for ever,
But poets seem licensed forever
To take freedom at will,
Let the language feel ill.
And some, charmed by its distinct flavour,
Venture still farther more
With their forevermore1,
And things like heretofore2,
Such is poetic lore,
And forever flows this odd river
Of poets forever,
A kind that never say never!
