Desolate Bed
A Anjandev Roy
0
Altın Yaprak
In that inauspicious night
The great bard dreamt a horrible dream,
When he was deep asleep,
He saw his sublime poetic mind
Was gradually receding from him,
He was pleading it earnestly not to move away from him,
But the poetic realm did not listen to the noble poet,
It was stubbornly retreating further and further,
The well known laureate began to cry in deep pain and frustration,
All at once he woke up
And found himself lying in his desolate and empty bed.
