River

River, my sweet river, The precious treasure of my tranquil mind, Where has he gone? I haven't seen him long, In his absence I stumble miserably on my way And fail to delineate the beautiful things in a powerful rhythm, They flee from my confused and fragile imagination again and again. Though I seek his cool and friendly water day and night, It's only grief and frustration at the end, I have not got back his calm and superior flow In spite of my sincere effort; Has he dried up? I fear so, I have delved into every inch of the vast land, known and unknown to me, But in vain, There is no trace of his wonderful fragrance. Being exasperated, as I search my great river desperately and extensively for the last time this moment, I suddenly feel I am standing on the serene and true water of my wonderful pal, Gradually he begins to flow all my limbs and I become completely drenched, What a great moment! I jump in an ecstasy and hug him with great emotion and fervour, Yes, I have got back my beloved friend, my pleasant river again, Indeed I am fully relieved now.
