Don't lay garland on my hearse. If I am deprived of your love In life, Let me stay deprived in my death. What an irony! I am crying all my life Seeking your love, Yet I don't get it. But on my death bed You would whimper and cry. Can a dead man Sense your warm touch? Kiss your lips? Then why? Why cry forlove That is never there in life? Let me sob, cry and wither Alone. All alone. Let me count my days on this earth. This cruel earth Where a lover cries for love all his life But never gets it. Let me twist in agony and die Every day, every moment. Remembering you, dreaming you, Desiring you. Let me die Loving you. Just loving you. © Arun Maji
