Astronomers like to say
That a million light-years away
There may be a planet or two
That harbour intelligent life too
My simple response to science like this:
Don't you know what earth's priority is?
Wouldn't it be wiser, wouldn't it be good
To prioritize care of children, lacking food?
Whether aliens live in trillions on Mars
Or on planets circling far away stars,
Does it matter in any possible way
If children still die of hunger today?
