The ancient gods bequeath to me
the woodlands of infinity.
A garden fills my last desire,
a shadowed glen, a peaceful fire.
And in that cove a cottage waits,
beyond decrees or evil fates.
And ever blooming roses grow,
where tranquil breezes gently blow.
Then in that heart of mystery,
my love at last returns to me.
Again our passion burns within,
restoring all that might have been,
And there we share a secret place,
to bask through time in its embrace.
