the black book made more sense
than modern poetry
it sayeth and it said unto
giving sound advice and gibberish
it paints an ugly picture of a god
made in man's image
or maybe it was modern poetry
back then
inspired by oral tales and hijinks
and miracles
the begetting went on and on
until it came to me
I had to turn to the white book
I had to write it
