M-eet the morn with glee
O-ctober seventeenth day;
N-ight cold-chilling rain
I-s fading into the gray.
Q-ueer the plans of dark,
U-ntil the break of dawn;
E-vening shadows pass by, as the twilight is gone.
A-llow your eyes to sparkle,
L-et your heart be glad;
V-iew the morn happily,
A-nd don't ever be sad.
R-ise up from the bed,
E-ven you're still sleepy;
Z-enith up there is waiting, meet the morn with glee.
