One Evening

One evening, be sure of it, I shall go away
And I have not to stay here,
One evening,
Come that evening.
One evening
I shall go away, I shall go away
And you will feel heavy for that,
But what that can I do,
What can you,
Except being sad and lonely?
If possible, remember me, remember me sometimes
But I have nothing as that to recall and remember
As I shall be dead and gone away, my friend.
