Poetry is an art and the poet an artist,
Making the images of life,
Fashioning them.
The poet as an artist and poetry his art,
Complimentary to each other,
Writing the poems of the world.
Picking and placing the words rhythmically,
Patching the images,
Dovetailing to smoothen.
Poetry is an art, placing of the words,
Poetry as an art, imagistic
And landscapic.
Poetry is sensitivity, sentimentality and sensuousness
Put into words, lines and sentences,
Broken, but rhythmic and musical.
