Rampant urbanization,
Industrialization
Taking a toll
Over Chennai,
Excessive cementing
Has cost it dear,
The asphalt buildings,
Flyovers and footbridges
And highways
Causing a serious damage
To Nature,
Water outlets
Lie they choked in
And gagged.
