Sitting on the gallery benches
Hear I the sad and solemn music of humanity
Sitting on the gallery benches
Hearing the orchestra bands taking me away
Telling of the bad days to befall,
The desertion of the circus artistes
With the poor plight of the circus animals,
Lions, tigers, camels, elephants, asses, horses,
Peacocks, parrots, porupines.
