Walter de la Mare
A poet romantically imaginative
And fanciful
Or a dreamer
Or an escapist?
A poet Blakian
Whose Songs of Childhood
Reminds us of
Songs of Innocence and Songs of Ignorance.
A poet of childhood
He is Thomas Hoodian
Remembering his childhood
As Hood in I Remember, I Remember
Or call it, My Childhood.
