Life inside a shadow The ultimate abyss Spontaneously moving to what end? Everything has purpose I am the voice of images, yes, a slave with many masters I am the negatives that gave birth to old photos and films I am the Pupil of your eyes, the glorious iris will not share it's beauty Even the reflection has a better lot in life On the wall, I am subject to whatever the hand desires to be, I do take delight in this as I love to see children play My jubilee is the eclipse, I must admit, me and my kind, rule the dark side of the moon We are puzzled about cold and hot, it being a concept that we cannot comprehend, which in terms you can understand, us being beneath any value I ask you, What would life be without us? Well, you would become of our nature Light would burst from the ground, as well as the oceans Overwhelming brilliance would blind you, just as staring continuously at the sun Yes, life inside a shadow, A diminution, equating to the ultimate abyss
