How can I find poetry, in a world of moral decline? Life has become of very little value, unless one stands up for the cause of perversity I have become sick, yes, looking at absolute corruption in politics Religious leaders are a cancer, as pedophile priests prey on those, entrusted to their veneer of godliness, while others slaughter and behead others, all in the name of a cause Raping women and gutting children How can I find poetry in this? Nations which wave the flag of atheism act without mercy, eating the hope of their people, placing an unbearable burden on them, while those ruling live in shameless luxury Where is justice? I have searched for it It is elusive as peace It is rarer than a chest of refined gold It is the joke of all jokes, yet, no one is laughing Please tell me, where is there room for poetry? I go to creation to find it The earth is weeping profusely One species after another, enters the dead zone, while there are those who value, their pet more so than a persons life Thick gloom covers this orb of violence Dark poetry is as words written on stalls fit for urinating negativity Everyone is an island to themselves, excluding a chosen few, and it is them, in which I find poetry
