Once Upon A Home

Once upon a time there was an oasis, Yes, a home, where all found refreshing friends Beautiful palms drank from inkwells of of inspiration and wonder Sure, there were trolls as there still is, But we tolerated their silliness This oasis was fun and comments were posted as often as we would give Every town changes with time, yet still, there are things that remain, as we cherish our heritage Here, I see nothing but a ghost town No joy, no interest on the part on the homeowners, whomever they may be? I still see a few footprints of a few friends, Yet, one by one, the wind sweeps them clean Though the wind blew me away, I kept returning, only to see the waters fouled Oh how I miss the day of humble beginnings Maybe one day, no, who am I fooling? , better to say I miss the old days
