Proofreading ….. [bri's Ph Proofreading; Personal; Medium Length; Humor]

Proofreading is one of my personal PoemHunter-dot-com quirks. But I really do NOT think ALL who make typos OR errors are.... jerks. A few MAY be, though there are WORSE things that they could be doing. One "thing", as my mom would have said, is talking at a meal ….while chewing …....... her carefully prepared meals for five kids and her hubby. Why, it's a wonder that MORE of us kids did not ……end up chubby! It must be ‘cause dear Mom kept us so freakin' damn busy …….WORKING. We had no lawnmower! ! Instead, we kids shortened the TEN acres (using our hands) by jerking. Now THAT'S unusual, using ‘jerk' as a noun AND ‘jerk' as a verb. I hope reading ‘jerk', with different meanings, did not (YOU) disturb. Don't mind me too much; my brain and pen are "on a roll". Sometimes, when dealing with "them", I lose ALL my control! ! Now I seem to have gotten off my title's "track", soooo … I'll try to get back Proofreading's one of the few things I enjoy more than "hitting the sack". And for you who don't know what that last idiom means, it means going to bed, to sleep, ….. after taking off jeans. I've got mixed emotions about my proofreading prowess. It helps me enjoy one poem MORE, but enjoy another poem LESS. LET ME EXPLAIN ……………… If a poem is well-constructed and makes sense, i.e. it's one I would like, AND if it's very creative OR intelligent OR sensitive OR funny OR witty, I'll like it LESS if it has MANY typos or TOO many errors. I even MIGHT think it's "shitty". BUT, if a poem is NOT-LIKE the one ABOVE, and into-the-trash-basket I want ("it") to shove, I'll LIKE IT MORE [than I otherwise would], ‘cause finding "mistakes" is one thing I most LEVE! !
