With children, with teens
with anybody who wears jeans
or not
fertilize their minds with encouragement
and tales of other astronauts and pioneers
and emigrants who changed their stars,
rearranged them to be their picture,
their perspective on the cosmos
uniquely theirs
fertilize the dreamer to see their
dreams more clearly and not yours
Fertilize the sprout of youth
to grow and produce of its own kind
