Some Pilgrims

Some pilgrims take the high road
Walking sunlit butterfly pastures
Treading sweet grass meadows
Never doubting, resolute in faith
Stepping closer to Paradise by the day
Protected and embraced by God's love.
Some pilgrims take the low road
Walking forests dark and menacing
Bloodied and bruised by roaring storms
Passing through valleys deep in shadow
Burdened with doubt and uncertainty
Trying to keep faith seeking for God's love.
