“Although things were shaping up misery always finds its way” ~Xeniyah What is a seat without some one to fill its space? What happens to its importance if it has no use? How does it feel without anyone to sit upon it? How does it feel to stare into them knowing who should be? The air breathes steadily but with excitement, Emotions scattered across a table of beholders Innocence and joy stenches the voices of men However what is the worth of an empty chair? Knew that a new beginning was taking place, The birth of a new passion and a new art But the only thing to drown out the enthusiasm and motivation, Is the sight of empty chairs. All of the blood, sweat, and tears a man can make Was put into the emotions felt now, None negative but extremely positive But there again the sight of empty chairs. The thoughts of self worth ensues the mind Wondering what does it matter if the chairs are lonely? Cold, lonely, and collecting dust; this isn’t what it should be The sadness and insignificance of the empty chairs, No meaning or reason or consequentiality Just there as extras just in case someone needs them Sadly there isn’t much you can do for the empty chairs When emotions take over from knowing whose seats they should be.
