The sounds of laughter ringin in my head Reality is only hangin from a thread I'm fed so much garbage by the media Repeated day after day after day after day The only way to escape is leave through the door That leads to a war between the weather and my pores Wind slams against my eyes The tears forced through a different route Sickles of ice protrude down my nose Because it's the only way out Why must I always be so sad? On the nights the hollow laugh But it's the opposite whenever the tables are turned My headphones burn the ill thinkin Meltin the sickles away But it isn't enough to change my mood I need somethin to soothe my heart And possibly switch my groove I walk hastily through the cold Slippin on the ice laid on the ground But I keep walkin not letting nature hold me down My thoughts are immeasurable So they rarely escape from the inside I'm asked about when I passed and I told em I been died It just hurts to know I've been forgotten by the ones I adore Really isn't much more to say but I'm froze from the core The epicenter of the heat that sets my body ablaze Has been reduced to the withered cold hands of a slave I slip on this ice in pursuit of somewhere I belong But the only answer I'm not gettin wrong is the relevance of this song My legs grow weak so now I crawl on the path set before me Realizin someone else has been through the same things as me I can't let up so, I stand, no longer slippin but walkin on this ice Flippin every slip and slide into a scene in my life No longer letting the snow get the best of me I control my destiny and my visions can have the rest of me No more trying to evade the struggles I walk right through it Because as long as I procrastinate I can never been fluent In what I'm pursuin
