They protest the burning of a book But turn a blind eye to the burnt girls Afghans need to take a hard look An imbalance of Justice now unfurls. How tragic for many of those teen brides To lose their youth in that tradition It benefits only the fake macho side Of self-serving men in that nation! Women are viewed as things to sell To serve as wife-maids at a young age And many have horrible tales to tell So to escape, set themselves ablaze. What kind of nation can treat girls like this? They even forbid their education! They bomb the schools to make learning cease Such methods may soon bring annihilation!
