This gift that God gave is a blessing A rare and growing source of joy, Each day I find that with my writing There's comfort, peace, that I enjoy. A way to touch some with the words, Perhaps give sunshine, ease their burdens. The cheer I give itself accords Some soothing balm that heals again. I thank the LORD for His answer And bask in the light of a double blessing Aside from connecting with my readers I now earn something for my writing.
