In A Teardrop

You came back today
Said you forgot some things
Too surprised
I had nothing to say,
The silence was deafening.
No looks exchanged-
But we felt each other.
So close yet so distant
With our unseen barriers
And as you left
I found what you forgot
...In a teardrop.
