Today Is But Another Chance

All this nothingness will soon decay
For life is but a flickering light,
Like grass that withers and soon fades away
Each one in time will be lost from sight.
Each day is but another chance to make it good,
A borrowed moment for just a bit of happiness.
None can guarantee Tomorrow will come as it should,
But Today is here for words and deeds of goodness.
