Where Hate Comes From

Rejection of a child Blackens his world with hate. He never grows up mild, But with anger his heart pulsates. He always sees the wrong Or the ugliness of his life, Confused as to where he belongs He wallows in fear and strife. Rejection keeps him hating, Imprisons him in venom. It devours his every thinking And strikes everyone who will come. There is no cure for this toxin- It's a poison that creates the monster It erupts from the hate within, And destroys the Source thereafter. ..............................................................................
