Within every heartbeat,
a whisper can be heard
for someone crying out for love
that isn’t always heard.
As we travel down life’s road,
we should listen for the whispers
that surround us on our way.
A cry from an infant,
the torment of someone lost
along their way.
There are so many whispers
and we should all
identify ourselves with one.
For within every heartbeat
a whisper can be heard.
