Yesterday I felt quite poorly
no spring in my step,
then last night I spoke to a friend
and all the heaviness was gone.
My heart feels much lighter
and my future much brighter
than it has been in a long while.
The conversation was full of smiles
and brightened up my day
and we were both reluctant,
though we knew, we had to
say goodbye for another day.
