Some say that paradise
is beyond the setting sun
near the reaches of heaven.
Where eternity lingers for everyone.
Others say it is much closer to home.
That lingering moment
in your lovers arms,
or that stimulating kiss
that fills you with so much joy.
Wherever paradise lies,
we all find it
at some point in our lives.
We find it and savour it
for as long as we can.
Whenever anyone asks us
where paradise lies
we all describe it differently
and always end by saying,
we were at paradise then.
