Birthdays are not about presents,
sometimes the greatest gift
is in the acknowledgement
for what you have done for your children
year in and year out.
My adopted daughter said it all.
She made a card and in it
she wrote Happy Birthday Dad
and thank you for always being there for me.
Love your daughter.
It was the best thing I received.
