There are things we need to tell,
something we must share,
a failing we have.
The problem is how do we tell them?
Will they push us aside when they know?
These are the questions
that torment us from time to time.
There are no lies attached
in what we have to confess.
Just our shame in what we do.
It’s not easy to tell someone something
they might feel uneasy about.
You need to confess though
as it is good for the soul
and easier on your mind.
