Inspirational

Sometimes we meet someone who will inspire us so much even when they are no longer within our sight. Their lasting legacy lingers on through the years. Just the very thought of them transports us to a situation that may never have happened and may never really happen. Years ago I met such a person whose beauty could capture and in captivate anyone she met. She has inspired me for more years than I care to remember. Where she is now I do not know except hidden in my memory until the next time I need her to inspire me again. Her dormant presence remains where ever I may wander and with just a moment’s thought I can call her back to again to set my pen in flight. Though the years she has inspired songs, poems and short stories. Her memory even inspired me to write this, so where ever you are Gillian Reid thank you for being inspirational. 21 October 2013
