Red sky in the morning
is a weather warning
of troubled weather ahead.
Red skies at night
are a delight
forecasting tomorrow to be bright.
Attached to these
are various occupations,
sailor or shepherd
depending where you are.
At sea it is a sailor
and on land a shepherd.
With metrological forecasts
broadcast every day
some still believe in
red skies as their philosophy
as it is normally right.
