Sometimes love can be intrusive
in everything you say and do.
It makes you do things
you would not normally do.
It intoxicates you
with its sweet nectar
turns your world upside down.
Leaves you floating on a cloud
with no foot hold on the ground.
It makes you light headed
with stars before your eyes.
Sometimes love can do these things
so don’t be too surprised
when you get that feeling
because it will not go away.
