Sounds Behind It All

Some music is pleasing to our ear,
the voices of our generation
that speaks volumes to us.
Yet other music we cannot stand,
voices of a different generation
speaking words we cannot understand.
Each of us enjoy music,
but only from a generation
we have become accustom to,
everything else we turn away from
because we fail to understand
the sounds behind it all.
