There are times when our lives
are filled with isolation and despair
and we get those feelings no one is there.
Loneliness traps us in its lair
and we wonder if we can go on.
Then something happens to turn our life around
from an unexpected source.
Someone we never expected
takes our hand and leads us
to the light of brand new tomorrows
we thought were out of sight.
Once again we move forward
through the new days and nights.
