Storm Dudley

The cold wind is whipping The rain filled clouds Into a wild frenzy In nights dark shrouds. As storm Dudley strikes hard Wherever it blows, With raging waves at sea To add to sailors woes. Rolling down dark cold towns, And trees on land Topple over like ten pins, At the winds command. Pity the homeless cold and wet As they wander to and fro Nowhere dry to sleep As they have nowhere else to go. As you sit in your warm home As snug as snug can be, Lets hope your roof Is not destroyed by a darn falling tree.
