A single tear creeps down my face In the middle of every night Although this happens often It's always out of sight. Out of sight Out of mind Another nightmare Sleep I try to find. Now two tears A perfect pair There's people in the house But they're unaware. That I have these dreams And they scare me awake Memories of the sad times I wish I had fought, a sad mistake. Fought to be happy Fought to be glad Fought for the memories I could've had. But instead I was silent I was motionless I hadnt even tried I could've cried. Cried for help Cried for my dad Cried to be heard I wanted to, so bad. Tonight tears and darkness meet In the corner of my eye To forget these moments I seek But its just too hard to try.
